Just One

Social Justice MERCY

Our mission is to encourage, empower, and equip students and staff to change the world Just One step at a time. Rather than getting overwhelmed by all of life's problems, we ought to focus on Just One thing at a time.

Our Reflection days are focused around the theme of Social Justice MERCY. Whilst justice is necessary, we focus on first looking at our neighbour with eyes of mercy. We dive into issues that everyone wants to talk about but don't know how to resolve.

Our focus is empowering people to recognise their own gifts and talents and how they can use them to better themselves and their neighbour. We teach that we must accept the love and mercy of God, to then share it with the rest of the world, especially those in need.

Ezekiel and the team

Our lead facilitator, Ezekiel Bartlett, is a qualified theologian, former international missionary, and worked as a practitioner in max-security prisons. He currently does work in the Youth Justice space and continues his work with the marginalised and those doing it tough. Ezekiel is authentic, relational, and very engaging. He has presented and evangelised internationally.

All facilitators have experience working and volunteering in the Social Justice space. They share real testimonies of how tough life can get, but God's love is enough to conquer anything. They have first hand experience working with those who need a hand outstretched. Just One walks the walk, before they talk the talk.

  • "I have had Ezekiel work with my students over numerous years. Ezekiel is highly knowledgeable and particularly good in reaching out to youth, especially those who can present with significant challenges in life and faith. Ezekiel speaks to them at their level, engaging them and never avoiding the tough questions. He has introduced students to the wonders of prayer, scripture and the beauty of the liturgy."
